When Lana Kontos started her BeautiControl business, she was single and just looking for a way to make some extra vacation money. Now, Lana has the freedom to travel and has even been able to send her parents on vacation. “I am able to give to my family in ways I would have never been able to in the past. Last year, I sent my parents on a 12-day cruise to Hawaii for their 50th Wedding Anniversary,” comments Lana.

Formerly a business owner, Lana was able to replace her executive income in 19 months. Lana says, “I now have the freedom to stay home with our six-year old daughter, and that is huge!”

Lana’s work ethic and passion for her business earned her the title of Top Director in 2004. Through her success, she has been able to mentor and teach others how to succeed. Shes says, “I feel a great achievement each time I help to promote up a Director or help a leader move up on my team!”

Other achievements are less tangible, but every bit as important. Lana says it makes her smile to watch her daughter grow up with strong women mentors and to see how much she has grown herself. She says, “I love to watch women’s lives change through this business. I have also made friendships that most women never have in their life!”

Lana has found a career that is different than any other. She says, “The career is limitless. You control your destiny. Where else can you have freedom, income, great friends and leave a legacy?”
